Scholar Safety & Environment
Quintilian™ is a curated environment where intellectual rigor and mutual respect are non-negotiable. Every candidate completes a Diagnostic Assessment and an Alignment Interview prior to acceptance. This process confirms academic readiness and alignment with our institutional standard before sessions begin.
Within our full Cohort room and every 5:1 Table, sessions are led by a vetted Faculty Lead and governed by a strict code of conduct:
- Active Direction: Faculty Leads guide every session, holding the room accountable, productive, and supportive.
- Executive Ethics: We uphold high standards of empathy and professionalism, ensuring every peer interaction is grounded in mutual respect.
- Assigned Opposition: Scholars argue against each other daily, and never by their own choosing. The Respondent seat rotates by position, the objection is scored, and Faculty Leads rule on it in the open. Rigor is structural here, which is precisely what keeps it from becoming personal.
- Intellectual Growth: Structured protocols sustain the balance between a room safe enough to be wrong in and the friction genuine development requires.
Safeguarding Standards
Faculty Leads are background-checked and held to rigorous safeguarding standards appropriate for working with scholars under eighteen. Several of these standards, including the accompaniment requirement below, apply to every scholar regardless of age.
- Restricted Access: Session access is strictly limited to placed scholars and assigned Faculty Leads.
- Secure Recordings: Where a session is recorded, the file is retained solely for the scholar’s Executive Asset Suite™. It is never distributed beyond the family and the Office of the Director.
- Required Accompaniment: At every in-person assembly, each scholar is accompanied by a family member and lodges with that family member. No scholar attends or lodges alone. This holds regardless of the scholar’s age, including scholars who have reached eighteen.
- Direct Consultation: Families with specific safeguarding questions are welcome to raise them with the Director during the Alignment Interview or at any time.
The cohort is vetted. The environment is governed. The standard is held™.
